To help you plan your visit to Hohenzollern Castle in Sigmaringen, we have compiled the most important information and useful details for you.


OPENING HOURS 2025*

10 March to 9 November
Daily from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm

10 November to 23 December
Thursday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

26 December to 6 January 2026
Daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

(Last admission one hour before closing time)

* The castle remains closed on the following dates:
1 January, 7 January to 9 March, 24 December, 25 December and 31 December.

GUIDED TOURS OUTSIDE REGULAR HOURS
From March to December, guided tours outside of regular opening hours are available upon request and subject to an additional fee.

VISITING THE CASTLE

The castle can be visited independently at any time using our audio guides.
Guided tours take place daily at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Guided Castle Tour:
Hohenzollern Castle (including 60-minute guided tour)
and Hall of Arms (including audio guide)

Reduced (students, holders of disability ID): €13.00

Family ticket (2 adults & 2 to 4 children): €40.00

Audio Tour / Children’s Audio Tour:
Hohenzollern Castle and Hall of Arms (including audio guide)

Audio guides are available in the following languages:
German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, and Romanian.
The children’s audio tour is available in German only.

Guests with Limited Mobility
Hohenzollern Castle is a listed historic monument and sits atop a high rock formation. For guests with limited mobility, a visit may be physically demanding. Unfortunately, access with a wheelchair or a rollator is not possible.

Animals at the Castle
Small dogs and cats may be brought into the castle in a closed transport bag. Larger animals are not permitted inside the castle. Assistance dogs are exempt from this rule.
